A major step in billiard slate production is the factory gleaning, cutting and finishing off of the slate. This is completed with machinery producing a product that can be finished to top world standards.

Palko have achieved this standard and now also have their own quarry, recently acquiring a new part of the mountain solely for their use. So unlike others, Palko's supply of slate will meet world demands for many years to come.

Our factory has been sending slate to the United Kingdom since the late 1980’s and later supplying to our Australian market. The quality required for these two countries must be of the highest standard. We now supply to over 20 countries worldwide.
